Purpose-built for hunters and sport shooters, the SportTac headset combines rugged mechanics with smart electronics that instantly attenuate harmful gunshot noise while amplifying safe ambient sounds such as conversation and game movement.

Glossary

Level-dependent function: also called “electronic ear muffs”. The headset uses microphones & speakers to pass through quiet sounds while shutting off dangerous peaks above 82–85 dB.
Attenuation (dB): the reduction in sound pressure level that reaches your ear. Every 3 dB is roughly a halving of sound energy.
