The FS3 Flipstone® is a revolutionary sharpener designed to make knife sharpening an enjoyable and highly efficient process. Combining advanced materials and a unique flip design, this sharpener features a diamond-coated stone and a ceramic stone for the ultimate sharpening experience. The diamond side, coated with Titanium Alumina Nitride, is ideal for tough sharpening tasks, while the ceramic side, made of synthetic sapphires, excels in fine honing.

Both sharpening surfaces are exceptionally hard, measuring 10 and 8 on the Mohs scale of hardness respectively. They retain a smooth and flat surface, making the sharpening process effective even with the hardest specialty powder steels. The stones are securely bonded together using 3M tape for durability and stability.

The FS3 is designed for ease of use with its spring-assisted folding mechanism. This innovative design makes it portable and safe for on-the-go sharpening. Use it dry, or clean it with soap and water for optimal maintenance. Over time, the diamond surface smooths slightly, enhancing its performance and longevity.

Instructions

Hold the Flipstone in your left hand. Push the catch on the upper section of the handle forward and press the exposed round button. A steel spring will automatically unfold the sharpening stone and lock it into position. To retract, press the round button and collapse the stone by hand. Fold back the catch to secure the sharpener and prevent accidental unfolding.
