For reshaping, use a coarser grinding wheel before finishing with the SJ-200.

Low Maintenance, Long Service Life

To maintain the SJ-200, clean its surface regularly to remove fine steel particles using the fine side of the SP-650 Stone Grader or the coarse side of a sponge. Avoid using the coarse side of the stone grader as it could damage the grinding surface.

The SJ-200 Japanese Waterstone fits Tormek T-4, Tormek T-3, and earlier models with a grinding wheel diameter of 200 mm (7 7/8") and a width of 40 mm (1 5/8"). For larger models, the SJ-250 Japanese Waterstone is available for the Tormek T-8 Original or Custom.
