When open, the flipper tab lines up with a groove for the index finger, providing protection to keep your hand from sliding forward. At the same time, a liner lock keeps the blade from closing when you don't want it to.
The Micarta handles have ergonomic form and secures tight grip. A deep-carry wire clip can be set up for right or left-handed carry and keeps the knife in your pocket in a tip-up configuration for ready deployment.
