FKMD O.M.G. Kaimano Combat Diving Knife
Description
FKMD O.M.G. Kaimano Combat Diving Knife
The FKMD O.M.G. Kaimano Combat Diving Knife is the official combat diving knife developed in collaboration with O.M.G. for the Italian Navy. Engineered for underwater and amphibious operations, it embodies precision Italian craftsmanship and rigorous military testing to deliver maximum reliability in extreme environments.
Designed in close cooperation with Special Forces operators, every detail of the Kaimano has been optimized for mission performance. Its N690Co stainless steel blade, finished with a Black PVD anti-corrosion coating, was subjected to extensive saltwater immersion tests lasting over a month to ensure resistance to oxidation and mechanical degradation. The results exceeded expectations, earning the knife official adoption by the Italian Navy.
The Forprene® handle provides a secure, non-slip grip even when wet or while wearing diving gloves, ensuring full control during underwater operations. The 6 mm thick full-tang blade delivers exceptional strength for cutting ropes, cords, and equipment under pressure.
The accompanying Nylon® sheath is MOLLE-compatible, allowing versatile attachment to respirators, diving jackets (GAVs), or tactical gear. This ensures that the Kaimano is always within easy reach, even in the most challenging underwater environments. The result is a knife built for professional divers, naval operators, and special units who demand uncompromising performance.
