Description
This Hultafors Trekking axe classic is ideal to take with you in your backpack when you go out camping. However, you could also use it as a small hand axe to chop kindling for your fireplace. This axe comes with a leather pouch enhanced with a belt loop that has room for belts up to 4 cm wide.
The axe head is forged from Swedish axe steel. The edge is so hard that it is strong enough to remain sharp without breaking, but also strong enough to be sharpened. Practically anything you could ever ask for from an axe head.
In terms of handles Hultafors uses American hickory wood. This type of wood is excellent at absorbing blows without breaking. As such it is perfect to use as a handle for hammers and, of course, axes.
