Description

In the cultural and productive tradition of the Sicily region there are numerous and different models of knives with names and variations based on the areas, shapes, construction techniques and materials used.
The splendid city of Caltagirone, in the province of Catania, gave its name to this knife, which according to ancient traditions was used in the area both in agriculture and in livestock farming.
The blade is similar to that of the "Sfilato" although slightly wider.
The handle ends with a protrusion which makes it easier to grip.

The knives of the "Caltagirone" line are also available in the version with carbon steel blade and internal grips and iron heads.
