Description
Aquatabs® is a tablet that is added to water to kill the micro-organisms it contains and to prevent diseases such as cholera, typhoid, dysentery and other diseases caused by harmful bacteria and viruses living in the water. The tablet dissolves in water in a few minutes, acting on the bacteria in about 30 minutes.
Aquatabs® tablets in this pack contain a weight of 8.5 mg and should be used in at least 1 liter of water, depending on the condition of the water (see instructions below). The tablets are packed in packs of 10. in each strip. Each pack contains 50 tablets. The shelf life of the tablets is up to 5 years from the date of manufacture.
Using Aquatabs in clear water reduces bacteria by 99.9999%, viruses by 99.99% and cysts (Giardia) by 99.9% in 30 minutes.
Instructions for use:
Each 8.5 mg tablet is used for at least 1 liter of water taken from an unknown water reservoir.
Aquatabs® tablets should be taken with clear water. If the water is cloudy, it must first be filtered through a cloth until it remains clear. If the water is taken from a known water source, such as a household, a low dose of 3.5 mg can be used, which is about a little less than half a tablet. In this case, you can also use one tablet for more water. In other situations, a high-risk dose of 1 tablet per 1 liter of water should be used.
Make sure the tablet dissolves in water by shaking or stirring. Wait 30 minutes for the disinfection to take effect, after which the water remains safe to use.
