Helikon-Tex Wolfhound Lite Jacket – Lightweight Insulated Jacket
The Helikon-Tex Wolfhound Lite Jacket is a lightweight and compact insulated jacket designed for tactical, outdoor and everyday use. It offers reliable thermal comfort during transitional seasons and can also serve as an insulating mid-layer under an outer shell.
Thanks to its low weight, good compressibility and quick-drying fabric, the Wolfhound Lite is easy to pack and practical to carry as a backup insulating layer.
2-in-1 Functionality
The Wolfhound Lite can be used in two ways, depending on weather and activity level:
- Standalone jacket for spring and autumn conditions
- Mid-layer insulation under a softshell or hardshell on cooler days
With 40 g/m² synthetic insulation, it provides more thermal comfort and wind protection than a classic sweatshirt while remaining light and easy to wear.

- Hook-and-loop panels on the shoulders for patches or identification
- Regular fit for layering and freedom of movement
Weather Resistance
The outer layer is treated with a hydrophobic coating that helps reduce moisture and dirt penetration. This improves daily usability and helps the jacket retain its properties longer.

How to Measure
- Chest circumference: Measure your chest at the widest point, holding the tape horizontally.
- Waist circumference: Measure your waist without holding too tightly or too loosely.
- Hip circumference: Measure the circumference at the widest point of your hips without holding too tightly or too loosely.
- Inseam length: Measure the inside of the leg in a straight line, from the crotch to the ankle.
- Height: Measure your height standing against a wall in a natural, upright position.
