The company’s roots go back to the post-war period, when founder Galliano Bordin began working with footwear in the Montebelluna district. This tradition evolved into the AKU brand in the 1990s, combining Italian craftsmanship with modern production technologies.

Today, AKU operates its own production facilities in Italy and Romania, supplying products to more than 50 markets worldwide.
