Tatonka Arctis 3 Tunnel Tent

The Tatonka Arctis 3 is a stable and durable tunnel tent designed for two people, offering excellent protection from rain and challenging weather conditions. Despite its compact packed size and relatively low weight, the tunnel construction with steep outer walls creates a surprisingly spacious interior compared to many dome tents.

The tent features taped seams, waterproof closures and ventilation openings for improved comfort in varying weather conditions. Like many Tatonka tents, the outer tent can be pitched first, allowing the inner tent to remain dry during setup in wet weather.

Design and Construction

The tunnel construction provides more usable interior space than many dome tents, thanks to the steep side walls. This creates a more comfortable sleeping and storage area, particularly when used for extended trips.

The second rear entrance improves airflow and ventilation, helping reduce condensation inside the tent. Multiple reinforced guy-out points increase stability in windy conditions.
