The StormCare Down Proofer is an eco-friendly wash-in treatment that restores the durable water repellency (DWR) of down-filled garments and equipment. Over time, the protective DWR finish of down outer fabrics wears off, leaving garments vulnerable to moisture. Wet down loses loft, warmth, and breathability — making reproofing essential.

This patented, abrasion-resistant proofer is PFC, PFAS, and PFOA free, designed to be used in the same wash cycle with Storm Down Wash, saving both water and energy. Perfect for down jackets, sleeping bags, gloves, and quilts, it restores performance and extends the life of your gear.

Product Use

Shake well before use. Pour 75 ml into the conditioner compartment of your washing machine. For optimal results, add Storm Down Wash into the detergent compartment in the same cycle. Use a 30°C synthetic or delicate cycle.

Drying: Allow the garment to drip dry for 20 minutes, then tumble dry on a low heat setting. Pause periodically to plump the garment and evenly distribute the down. For maximum loft, use Storm Down Balls during drying.

Caution: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wash hands after handling.
