How to Use the Sharpi Diamond Sharpener for Knife Sharpening:
- Prepare the Sharpener: Place the sharpener on a flat, stable surface with the non-slip feet securely in place for added safety.
- Select the Grit:
- Use the 360 grit side for coarse sharpening. This is ideal for dull or damaged blades that require reshaping.
- Use the 600 grit side for fine sharpening and polishing to maintain a razor-sharp edge.
- Sharpen the Knife:
- Hold the knife at a 15-20 degree angle against the sharpener.
- Apply gentle, even pressure and move the blade across the sharpener in a sweeping motion, from the heel to the tip of the knife.
- Repeat this motion 5-10 times on each side of the blade, depending on its sharpness.
- Polish the Blade:
- Flip to the 600 grit side for fine honing. Repeat the sharpening motion 5-7 times on each side of the blade to smooth the edge.
- Rinse and Clean: After sharpening, rinse the knife with water and wipe it dry. Clean the sharpener to remove metal particles and dry it thoroughly before storing.
Sharpening Tips for Best Results:
- Maintain a consistent sharpening angle (15-20 degrees) to achieve an even edge.
- Don't press too hard—let the diamond surface do the work for you.
- Clean the sharpener regularly to maintain its effectiveness over time.

- Steel and ceramic knives
- Outdoor knives and axes
