Description
The unique construction with a layered combination of two different stones (Soft Arkansas and Hard Black Arkansas) allows sharpening and honing in a single operation. The outer layers are finer, so that the edge always makes its last contact with the Hard Black Arkansas, which provides the finish grind. The extremely elaborate fabrication of this exceptional stone is proof for the high level of expertise displayed by RH Preyda. Its dimensions are 152 mm x 40.8 mm x 19 mm.

The oil stones of RH Preyda are mined by hand in Hot Springs in the Ouachita Mountains in Arkansas, the only single area where they can be found.
