The Fox Knives Chiroptera Karambit is a compact and precise tactical knife inspired by the wings of a bat — “Chiroptera” in Latin. Designed by Richard Derespina, a specialist in Karambit design since 1999, this knife combines ergonomic geometry and refined engineering for fluid, instinctive motion. Like the extension of the operator’s hand, the Chiroptera offers seamless control and rapid deployment once properly trained.
Its curved N690Co stainless steel blade delivers exceptional cutting efficiency, corrosion resistance, and edge retention. The Black Top Shield® coating enhances protection while eliminating glare for discreet tactical use. The G10 handle ensures a solid grip under all conditions, while the T6-6082 aircraft aluminum back ring supports the traditional Karambit retention technique, providing maximum control and rotational flexibility. The reversible AISI 420 clip allows for ambidextrous carry, making it equally suitable for professional and personal defense applications.
