Extrema Ratio Tripod Vehicle trap

The Tripod has been developed to increase the security level of military station entrances. It is used to stop medium and little vehicles.

This classic object was in the past difficult to transport and install which made it fitting only to fixed set ups.

Therefore we have carried out some innovations to enable its transport and installation: the Tripod can now be easily disassembled and it has been projected to be transported inside small vehicles and easily carried thanks to its shoulder strap and its acceptable weight. It protects the soldiers at the check points both in civil areas and in theatres of operation.

Its acceptable weigth (only 55,10 pounds / 25 kg) and its simplified assembly makes it easy to use even when operating machineries cannot reach the area.

The Tripod comes with an assembling kit composed of one Allen key (L shaped, size 0.55 inches) and one combined key (size 0.94 inches), both stocked in a pocket on the shoulder strap.

 

It is also available a ground fixing kit, to be ordered separately, composed of a cordura bag, a spade-club and ten stakes.
