The Eickhorn Aviator II is the Tanto-blade evolution of the proven Aviator rescue series. Technically identical to the Aviator I in functionality and construction, the key difference is the replacement of the classic Bowie blade with a modern Tanto-style blade, offering enhanced tip strength and penetration performance.
Designed for professional rescue and tactical applications, the Aviator II maintains the same operational reliability and emergency-focused features that have made the Aviator line trusted by military and professional users worldwide.
The Tanto profile provides a reinforced tip geometry, increasing structural strength at the point. This design is especially valued in tactical and rescue scenarios where controlled penetration and tip durability are essential.
The blade is manufactured from Eickhorn Professional Steel, hardened to 52–56 HRC. This military-grade steel offers a balanced combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and reliable edge retention.
The Aviator II features a Tanto-style blade instead of the classic Bowie blade used on the Aviator I. All other technical aspects remain identical.
The blade is made from Eickhorn Professional Steel, hardened to 52–56 HRC for professional-grade durability.
The Aviator II is manufactured in Solingen, Germany.
