DEFCON 5 “Storm” Plate Carrier
with ROC-40 Quick-Release System & Triple 5.56 Mag Pouch

Developed for Italy’s amphibious landing troops, the Storm Plate Carrier combines 1000 Denier nylon toughness with the patented ROC-40™ quick-release buckles for lightning-fast donning or doffing in critical moments. A detachable front panel carries three NATO-standard 5.56 × 45 mm magazines, while laser-cut MOLLE slots on all sides let you tailor your load-out.

Product Use

1. Insert SAPI/ESAPI or equivalent ballistic plates (front & rear pockets).
2. Shoulder on carrier and tighten adjustable POM ROC-40 buckles until secure.
3. Configure MOLLE surfaces with pouches, hydration tubes (rings on padded straps) or IFF patches.
4. Detach the front magazine panel via YKK® clips / hook-and-loop for rapid change-over or specialist panels.
5. In emergency, pull either shoulder or side ROC tab to instant-release the vest.

ROC-40™ buckle – “Rapid Open Connector”, a single-hand, pull-to-release buckle rated for 40 mm webbing; POM acetal construction offers low friction and salt-water resilience.
Laser-cut MOLLE – slots are cut directly into laminate fabric, shaving weight versus traditional sewn webbing while remaining fully compatible with PALS pouches.
