The Wilderness Survival Shovel has a welded back plate that makes the entire shovel head more robust than other products on the market. The welded back plate and the tip of the handle are also suitable for pounding. The spade head has a strong chisel grind that can be sharpened. This makes it possible to use this shovel also as a chopping or hammering tool. The steps face backwards to create a flatter, more compact package.

This shovel is smaller than other spades, making it easy to store in a backpack or vehicle.
