The Böker Plus Sanjo is playful without being gimmicky, exciting without being loud – a refined gentleman’s folder with real daily carry capability. Designed by Guy Poggetti (Marseille, France) and named after the town of Sanjo in Niigata, Japan, the knife follows a clean neo-Japanese aesthetic with carefully balanced materials and details.
The knife features a ball-bearing VG-10 Tanto blade that handles everyday cutting tasks with calm efficiency. The flipper disappears fully between the stainless steel liners when opened, keeping the profile tidy. A robust liner lock secures the blade, while the stonewash-style look is echoed across the build for a coherent, premium feel. The handle scales are made from brown burlap micarta, with a matching micarta backspacer for a warm, understated finish.

No. The design is intentionally clean: in the open position, the flipper tab disappears fully between the stainless steel liners.
Burlap micarta is a durable composite made from fabric layers and resin. It offers good grip, toughness and a warm, textured look that suits gentleman-style knives.
