Stop guessing, start measuring! This pocket-size tester shows the exact voltage of almost every household battery without using a power cell of its own. A crisp LC read-out gives a two-decimal voltage plus a 22-segment bar graph, so you see at a glance whether a cell is good to go or ready for the recycle box.

How to use

1. Set the side switch:
   • 1.2 V NiMH/NiCd • 1.5 V Alkaline • 3 V Lithium • 3.6 V Li-ion
2. Pull out the test drawer, align polarity, close drawer.
3. Read the voltage (V) and bar graph (‹replace – good›).

9 V blocks: just press terminals onto the contacts—the selector switch position doesn’t matter.

Tip: Cells under 1.0 V (alkaline) or 1.1 V (NiMH) are effectively flat— recycle them and save gear from leakage. Always test rechargeable batteries after a full charge to gauge real capacity.
